World War II veteran

Photographed in San Francisco, California, 2018
At the end of World War II, Porfirio Robea was discharged from the U.S. military and enlisted in the Philippine Army. He served for 34 years and became an instructor at the Military Training School, retiring in 1982.
Ten years later, he received notice from the United States Immigration Service regarding his eligibility for naturalization as a U.S. citizen. This gave him the opportunity to petition for his children and their families to immigrate as well.
